If you are considering home schooling your children .....

1 Notify your day school that you wish to homeschool and be registered at that school.

Fee for Service:       Families will contact FreedomSchool who will match carers

                                 & tutors to suit family needs and residential locations.

THERE ARE NO REGISTRATION OR START UP FEES AT FreedomSchool

PLEASE NOTE:

Home-schooling is very different to mainstream classroom teaching.

Families and children are not required to undertake ( and pay for) 6 lessons per day for 40 weeks like in day schools. The role of Mentors and carers is to support parents daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on what families require.

A minimum of 1 hour per session followed by ½ hour increases as negotiated with families.

The session rate will vary depending on the number of children present. Home-schooling and the Australian Curriculum requires student interaction and collaboration.

Many families combine to enhance activities and learning opportunities.

                                    Once connected, Families will negotiate their requirements                                              with carers and tutors in the same manner that private

                                    music tutors operate at home or in schools.

                                    Families pay carers and tutors directly by negotiation.

      1:1                         $30 per half hour session (minimum of 1 hour)

      1:2                         $20 per half hour session per child (minimum of 1 hour)

      1:4+                       $15 per half hour session per child (minimum of 1 hour)

                                     THINK about how much private schooling costs per year...                                              somewhere between $5,000 and $20,000 a year.

                                      Now you can pay less and get targeted and tailored care &                                            tutoring & learning when and where you want it once or                                                twice a week!
